English 306 - Report Writing

Hello, there! You've stumbled upon my humble blog. Congratulations.

The purpose of this blog is to relate my opinions on several subjects I find important as relating to my social and political community. It's not very vast in nature, mind you, because I'm a pacifistic anarchist at best. Or worst?

I live in this world, but I'm not terribly fond of the rules by which we govern ourselves. The modern world is turning fast, and it's trying to live by old rules to propel forward new values. I'm in favor of old values with new rules and new perspectives.

As for what forms these opinions: I'm a small-town American girl, born and raised in the same house for the past twenty-two years. I attended the same church and school for at least fourteen of those years. Although I am a woman of color, I'm racially colorblind, and I have not retained my mother's Filipino culture in any way. Some people, including my own family, find this to be horrific. I'd argue that it's the American dream they made me for.

Currently, I study at  California State University Northridge, working towards my degree in English so that I might teach at a high school or junior high school level.
